Project overview
With the growth of urban environments and the expansion of transportation systems, preserving biodiversity within these areas is becoming increasingly difficult. GEST aims to assess biodiversity within its tram depot in Scandicci. To do this, we conducted a thorough analysis of the biodiversity status of the depot and developed an action plan aimed at identifying concrete improvement interventions.
Main phases of the project
In 2024, GEST launched the project with an assessment of the tram depot in Scandicci to evaluate the current state of biodiversity at the site. This in-depth assessment allowed GEST to develop a concrete action plan with specific interventions aimed at improving biodiversity within the depot.
